Cigars at the Gas Station or Convenience Store

Good day friends. It's Tuesday, and it's this day, each week when our own, or he used to be Mowee, Frank Seltzer publishes his weekly blog entry over at J*R Cigars' website.

He's got an interesting topic, one I've been hearing about in radio advertisements, eve, over the last two years or so. You can get some really good, notable cigars in gas stations now. General Cigars, Altadis and Drew Estate seem to be on the forefront of this development.

This past week was the Tobacco Plus Expo which caters more to tobacco outlets and convenience stores and Altadis, General, Drew Estate, Rocky Patel and Oliva were all showing single serve packs for the grab it and go market. Acid and General rolled out the single stick format about 2 years ago and then a short while later Altadis joined the market. As far as I know Rocky and Oliva are now doing it for the first time. Rocky showed his Vintage 1990 and 1999 inb single packs while Oliva had the Serie G . Reserve and the Connecticut Nub.

Frank states that the prices are a touch higher, but not significantly so.
