Free sampler review 5-pack- Review # 2

Thanks to JazzNut for the form I am using and LastZap for the fiver:

Packaging: Unknown
Dimensions: Appears to be 5x50 Torpedo
Date issued: Unknown
Date smoked: December 27th, 2004.
Accompanying drink: Ice Cold Water
Texture of capa: Wrapper was smooth, dark. Hardly any veins visible.
Color of capa: Reddish chocolate colored.
Color of capote: Binder was a soft brown
Color of tripa: The filler was dark brown. A nice tobacco look.
Construction: Roll had a nice sponge feel.
Draw: The draw was tight at first, but opened up nicely towards the last half.
Combustion: Burn was perfect. Ash held for about 2 inches. This was stored perfectly.
Total smoking time: About 1 hour 15 minutes. I might have smoked too quickly with this one.

Pre-light aroma: Cinammon, leather, and strong tobacco odor.
Pre-light draw: Draw was tight. Leather and grass dominated.
Post-light aroma: Upon lighting, flora and grass grew stronger.

Palate entry: First draw was tight. Not too much smoke. The initial taste, for lack of a better word, was "grassy". About 1/2" in, leather and cinammon began to hit the palate. I think I know what this bad boy is!
Mid point: At this point, the flavors are beginning to come out. Grassy taste is gone. Leather and chocolate more dominate. Mild-medium strength, but medium body. About halfway, the draw opened up. Tons of billowing smoke!
Latter stages: Medium bodied finish. About 2 inches left and flavors have grown stronger. Cinammon, leather, chocolate, and floral tastes all together. Slight aftertaste of "grass" again.

Summary: This smoke lasted a good hour and 15 minutes. Started off tight, loosened up a bit towards the middle, and finished strong. Burned perfectly. I give this a solid 6.5/10.
My Guess: Genuine Cuban Counterfeit?
