I've always enjoyed the LGC natural but decided to smoke the the maduro I've had in the humi for abouit 6 months. It was the Corona Gorda 6x52.
Prelight - Good looking maduro, smooth and little veins noticable. Smelled good an made me want to light up. Ash- Firm and stayed on until I tapped it off. Gray/black in color. No flaking. Taste - Tasted nuts and coffee right away. Picked up a molasses taste as I smoke through the cigar. Medium to full in flavor, never harsh. Towards the end it was a little bitter but not really to noticable. this cigar provided plenty of smoke with each puff. Ovetrall - Very good cigar. I'll be keeping these on hand along wih the naturals. I'd give this cigar an 85, and would recommend. |
