La Gloria Cubana Miami's

Okay,
So how do you find the LGC produced in Miami?

And are they really better than the others?

Tobacco used in both are the same, but it's the rolling style that makes the difference. The Miami ones are rolled in the Cuban tradition, while the DR ones are rolled in the machine bunched massed production DR method. Rolling does make a difference and the Miami ones are much much much better cigars.

Not according to Ernesto's interview in the latest issue of "Cigar Magazine." His Miami rollers now use the same method as the DR and even he can't tell the difference.

I've only had 1 LGC in my life and it had a poor burn so I didn't try another. Maybe I should revisit if the rolling is better.

The Miami rolled LGCs used to be much better.

Can't comment on current production.

Those are what put him on the map. Then he got greedy or something I don't know the details but when production was moved to the DR they went to sh.t IMHO. They ARE NOT what they were before the move. Just another General Cigar now.
