Is there a better constructed cigar than....

AVO?
I have yet to have a poorly constructed AVO. The AVO maduro is one of my favorite cigars. But I have smoked several of other AVO's and all have drawn and burned perfectly with loads and loads of flavorful smoke. These are a true pleasure to smoke. I actually prefer a fuller bodied smoke than some of these but it is nice to know what you are going to get before you clip it. With some brands you just don't know.

I agree; AVOs are top-notch in construction.

For inquiring minds, there's a decent (albeit dated) article on the AVO/Davidoff relationship here:

I agree about AVO's quality construction.

For that matter, Macanudo cigars have great construction as well, although to me they have close to no taste.

Quality construction can truley be experienced with a Fuente Hemmingway. Never fails to amaze me when I light up a Signature and the ash hangs on for three inches, while the ashey shell of the perfecto contour retains its perfecto shape perfectly.

Even burn with no touch-ups required the rest of the way.

Agreed. AVO is one of the best constructed out there. Anyone mention Ashton?

Diamond Crown and Davidoff hands down! The Diamond Crown #6 is the pinnacle of perfect construction.
