El Rico Habano Gran Corona

Just got off smoking a run of nice Cubans, including among others, a Monte 2, Partagas D 4, Bolivar Belicoso Fino, Fonseca Cosacos and Flor del Cano Predilecto. Helped remind of why the folks in the Habanos Room go dizzy over what they call "...that Cuban Twang Thang." Sort of a tangy, maybe citrusy taste sensation that's truly unique to Cubans.

Then tonight I had an ERH GC that had been ignored for too long. Superb! And it struck me as being perhaps as close, lately, as I've gotten to tasting that "Twang Thang" in a domestic. It smoked well, with only a minor touch-up or two. I'm ordering a box of these immediately, with the box of LGC Serie R No. 4s I've been eyeing up. Damned good stuff from El Credito. And I ain't giving up domestics. Not by a long shot, with the likes of these smokes.
