Got beetles?

Today I unwrapped a Torano Sig series, took the cedar off and the band closest to the foot. There were two holes in the wrapper, not round, sort of crescent shaped and about 4mm long. There weren't any holes in the cedar or the wrapper and the thing smelled fine. It had been in the freezer after I got it, and I went ahead and smoked it. It smoked fine. I have never seen a beetle or a real beetle hole (hope I never do). So what was up with my cigar?
