Philip Zanghi Debonaire Ultra Premium Robusto

Rich, dark Robusto with sweet tobacco notes from the foot and sweet tobacco notes from the wrapper. A not-too firm bunch and a vary clean clip yielding an almost perfect cold draw.

After purging butane from the light, this is an excellent example of a maduro cigar. Not too heavy from the maduro wrapper and well balanced from the binder and the filler. There is some black pepper in the retrohale that adds to the complexity of the cigar.

This is definitely not your everyday maduro. The surprises of the complexity with almost every draw keep you interested in how this cigar is going to turn out. For example, half-way through you are reminded of a punch/hoyo rothschild, only to discover new and different flavos three puffs later. When I spoke to Mr. Zanghi, he hinted at the complexity of his cigar and how proud he was of it.

As I smoked his fine cigar I was indeed impressed by the complex flavors he had included in his cigar.

Approaching the end of the cigar, I was indeed impressed by the complexity of flavors. This one easily earns a 8.5/10. Joe Bob says check it out.
