Partagas Serie D #4
Haven't seen a review on these in awhile so I thought I'd toss in my ..............
Just revisited one from box code AXC Nov 04, and these are coming around very nicely. Went into a definite sick period shortly after I got them and have been that way until now. This one burned smooth and rich with a nice, slightly sweet spicyness so reminiscent of the classic Party profile. Earthy with hints of cedar and nuts on the finish. THe flavor remained complex and constant to the end, with the body progressing from medium to med/full towards the end. These definitly won't last long now! THe burn was slightly off and needed a couple corrections, but nice easy draw with an ample volume of smoke. Very nice smoke indeed. A definite step up from the Shorts I've smoked, and definitely a different breed fom the P2s. Probably my fav Robusto right now!!!!
