Man 'O War Phalanx

Got a fiver of these with a Manowar sampler. Good looking dark cigar with a nice tobacco smell. Draw was kind of easy, but not without some resistance. Burned straight through the whole cigar. That said....

WOW THE PEPPER AND HOT SAUCE IN THIS CIGAR WAS ON LIKE ALL CAPS ALMOST ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!!1!!

it did not help that I was smoking it at 5:30 am with no coffee in me, and a light breakfast. I slowed way down on it and was rewarded with strong vanilla and dark tobacco flavors, but if I heated it up at all it was back to all habanero, all day long.

90 of 100 for what I got out of it. I will smoke the others when i have plenty of time and drinks.

I haven't tried that one but I will now. I like the regular MOWs. I would like that one right on the edge of the pepper hit.

Nice Review! I recently picked up what I believe is the same 5 pak, (MOW side project?), I have enjoyed all of them so far. I'll be curious to hear which one is your favorite of the bunch. Enjoy!

Mega Sampler, now that i look at it. It has the Phalanx, Virtue, Ruination and the regular line.

I may have gotten something a little different. I got a variety bundle of the MOW Side Project vitolas. I have liked all that I've tried, and they all have distinct differences across the board. I think my favorite of this series is the "52C". So far, I haven't met a MOW that I haven't liked!
