Padilla Cigars
finally got around to smoking both of these cigars.
The appearance was almost flawless. No visible veins in either cigar. Nice soft coco color and a solid construction. The smoke was smooth and a bit floral for my tastes. Both of these cigars had an Easy Draw that I loved. The only problem I had with both was a flakey ash. I was in the truck when I smoked the robusto and it seemed that every 1/4 inch the ash would break off in my lap. Other than that, the cigar was fantastic. I think Padilla is off to a running start

Still waiting on mine. From the reviews so far this sounds like a really good cigar. I'm really looking forward to trying this cigar.

I received a couple of Padilla robustos as part of the door prize package at the Little Rock herf. Like Swift E says, they look great!
I'm going to give them some 'dor time and then fire one up real soon.

I have only the Torpedo left of the three he sent me, the Churchill I reviewed earlier somewhere here (I'm a newbie to your board, have been posting at CA for many years).
The Hybrid Robusto was outstanding as well. I am really looking forward to these hitting the shelves. I smoke a bunch of Don Carlos robustos now, as well as the Davidoff 5000, Milennium robusto and Coronas, Ashton VSG's etc. The new Padillas are every bit the equal to these lines, with a very interesting new wrapper (almost redish in hue) and flavor. I'm hooked.
