JR's X-mas deals

I haven't received the new catalog yet, but went through their offerings on the website. Nothing there that moves me, lots of ashtrays, lighters, sweatshirts, umbrella, etc. Big disappointment!

It's still early. I think they'll come through.

I thought last year's 12 days deals were pretty disappointing. JR can sell what it wants, when it wants, but the 12 days program last year was nothing but odd sized cigars (mostly panatelas) that they were trying to unload from inventory. Maybe this year will be better.

I was trying to be polite. :)
I'm not a fan of JR's in general and I thought last year's holiday specials were exceedingly lame. I know there are a lot of people on this board who are JR devotees, but you can easily find better deals on everything they sell (except their own brands, of course).

That is where I got my panatelas - I wouldn't buy any at full price but enjoy a slim cigar now and then.

there will be something that you like in there - and a few that you don't.

I hope.

Unbelievably, I don't think I purchased a single item from last year's 12 days. Here's hoping for better this year.
