I realize I may get flamed for this, but does anyone else like his music? I think he is a great composer/musician and I really enjoy his music. It is some of the most relaxing there is.
The problem is that I can't stand to watch him. I tried to watch his new special on PBS last night and it was hard to enjoy the music. That guy is so damn cheesy it's unreal. You can tell he's pretty full of himself too. But, the music was incredible...

I've never been able to get past the cheesiness.

Sorry. I can't get past his B.S. publicity with Linda Evans about 10 years ago. You saw them everywhere talking about how they love each other more than life and then all of a sudden it's over.
I still haven't recovered.

I think that was a publicity stunt designed to stop rumors that he is gay Oh wait, he's European... nevermind
Seriously though, his drummer and bass player are freaking awesome!

I don't know anything about his personal life but the music I have heard is only good for sleeping.

Is he that guy that plays that pan-flute in those cheezy late-nite commercials?
