Drove from Quantico, VA to Camp Lejuene today and made a slight detour to the JRs in Selma. I got sticker shock. It was at least two dollars more a stick than back home in VA. There was an older white haired guy there so I asked what's up this use to be a great place to buy sticks at great prices. He said he has been with JRs for seven years and ever since Imperial bought them JRs is no longer a discount store it's now a cigar shop and lounge. He talked for no kidding 15 mins straight on how much he hated Imperial and that they were just gouging people with their prices. And he said as a matter of fact another employee was in the back raising the prices as we speak. I guess this ends my stops at the JR stores the prices were ridiculous. Other than online deals I'm done with JRs. Sad.

Seen same in NJ. The Montecristo Lounge tie-in and the move upmarket is no bueno.
