Does anyone take Gurkha seriously?
I don't, for one. Their descriptions and "retail prices" are absurd. To me, they are either the necessary evils in otherwise flawless samplers, for to use as yard 'gars, or to give to people who would never know the difference and telling them that it is a $30 cigar (well, it is...) I've never smoked one that was memorable in any way, except for fact that they are basically ripping off the uneducated smoker, which isn't very nice. "Reserved for royalty" blah blah blah. If they are reserved for royalty then why are you trying to push them on me in catalogs?
