of course it doesn't - I am a programmer and a hack musician - My opinion is not any better than his. I am not even a talented player, I am a skilled player. I struggle for every note I play while it seems to come natural to those with talent. IHMO

I didn't mean ALL guitar players have to fall at Joe Walsh's feet - I mean all the players I KNOW - (I can't speak for those I do not know) do not underrate Joe Walsh.

I happen to think that probably THE best musicians on earth do not play professionally or full time.

Like Jerry Wexler told an up and coming band, don't stop in Memphis the garbage sweepers will blow you off the stage.

Lots of great players everywhere and just because they chose any easier way to make a living does not diminish their talent.
So true, so true. Back in High School, someone gave me a cassette, of
what I thought, was the Eagles, and other groups. Turned out, it was
someone I knew, who was very talented, played guitar/piano/and other
instruments, who had a studio in his home. He enjoyed playing, with
close friends, but never more then that. He has a younger brother,
who owns an advertising firm, who I see, at a lot of functions. Each
time, I always talk, about how his brother, was an incredible musician.
He just enjoyed, playing for a hobby, no more, no less....
