Turkey Sediment
Any idea what the sediment is in my decanter of Wild Turkey 101?
Christmas 2003 I received a new (non-leaded) glass decanter and a set of glasses. I put Wild Turkey 101 in the decanter and set it out in the dining room. I've had maybe two drinks from it since. I usually drink from the liquor cabinet and just hit the decanter where we're supposed to be looking fancy. At any rate I noticed over the weekend that there is sediment inside the decanter resting on the bottom. It's swirls into the drink with minor agitation. Any idea what it is? The stopper is glass (as in no cork) and a sound fit. I'm trying to figure out if the bourbon is drinkable, if the decanter is bad or what. Rancidgoat (with potentially rancid Turkey)
