got the iQair for $200 on ebay $300 for all new filters and upgrade to plus version. $500 for this filter is still expensive but much better than most other filters. I do some work with clean rooms and its all about moving air. If your purifier doesnt move air like the Ionic air it wont do you much good. I've had other filters and the cost adds up because the filters have to be replaced every 6 months(Holmes) and they arent cheap. The iqair has about a 2 year replacement time. The prefilter 6 months. Stocked up on the prefilters for cheap on ebay.

Anyone know of a good filter to be used with furnaces or Hvac systems? I'm talking replacement filters not the electrostatic ones.
