And Speaking of Colibris...

I thought of doing this a few days ago, and read the overturned-truck thread and Frank's comment about Colibri lighters reminded me.

Colibri has a pretty consistent record of having mechanical problems. I had one myself crap out when the ignitor broke. I managed to temporarily fix it only to have it break again. I ended up sending it to Colibri, they repaired it and sent it back.

Now I'm affraid to use it because it might break again. I use my El Cheapo $3-$7 dollar lighters with much more success.

However, whenever Colibris are dicussed, there are always the infrequent posts each thread where someone says something along the lines of, "I've had my Colibri for X years and it still works fine."

Hey! Even a blind squirrel occassionally finds a nut. In order to give some time to Colibri users, and some good press for a change,

How about posting your good experiences with Colibri lighters?

Which Colibri lighters might have a good track record of operation? What Colibri have you had success with? Include the model if you can. Provide a description if possible if you don't know the model. And include the price you paid too if you remember that.

Thanks
