Lindeman Framboise Lambic

Had one at the local pub last night. It's the sweettart candy of beers, I swear!

My wife won't share hers Lambic is the only beer style she likes (well I get her to drink a Rodenbach or Duchess de Bugoyne now and then).

She made me brew one for her a couple times. Takes a year or two before it's really nice and tart.

Try one with a rich chocolate cake or other chocolate dessert. I also had sorbet made with it and it's great.

I love a fine bittersweet balance in beer as much as the next person.
But fruit-infused Lambics just have never done it for me.
A little spice infusion (as in Traquair Jacobite Ale) is about as far as I'll go.
Give me malt and hops, please!

Have you ever tried Rodenbach Alexander? That is the real king of sweet-tart beers!

Yes. Proves the 'different tastes for different tastbuds' theory, I suppose.
