White Humidor
Hi gang. I'm looking for a white, glossy lacquer desktop humidor, preferably about 100-stick capacity, but size doesn't matter (at least in this case <g>). The only one I have been able to find is an Ashton, which lists for (gasp) $1800. Even at deep discount, it would still cost me close to a grand. I'm interested in something running maybe a couple-few hundred dollars. Any suggestions? TIA.
BTW, Please excuse the cross-post.

Buy a cheap normal one and get your hands dirty with a sander and white gloss paint.

I agree with JD. Unless you can live with some logos on your white humidor (I see some white humidors at JRs from time to time, but emblazoned with various logos like Montecristo White). If you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, find a local cabinet shop or similar to do it. Should cost a great deal less than a high end model with "custom" finish.

Check out the CAO Vision cigar boxes. You can usually pick up one on ebay for nothing. They have a built in humidification device and a digital hygrometer (I think).

Here is the only mercifully priced white one I've seen recently:

Cigarella has some beautiful Montecristo White humidors she'd probably be willing to part with for under $25 plus shipping. They are all white and have the Montecristo logo on the top.
