Draw Machines

As with everything I’m behind with reading the magazine portion of CW. I read “An Interview With Jonathan Drew” during which he stated his extreme dislike for draw machines. But then later praised Davidoff for the line’s consistent draw.

I can understand that the torcedor (including the entire process) should produce a cigar which draws correctly.

But in the end, what’s so bad about a draw machine?

Also, doesn’t the Davidoff factory use a draw machine?
