Smoking in Ocean City, MD?

My wife and I will be celebrating our 5th Anniversary in Ocean City, MD in a couple of weeks. We always stay at the Hilton. The hotel is a non-smoking hotel, but the first time I went I noticed that there was an ashtray on the balcony, and there were no signs saying smoking was prohibited on the balcony. So I lit up.

We've been back a few times and sometimes there was no ashtray. But I asked at the front desk whether I could smoke on the balcony and they said yes. So I've done so each time we went.

As some of you may know, Ocean City, MD has new anti-smoking laws. Smoking is now prohibited on most of the beach and boardwalk. I'm not sure how these laws effect the hotels. I guess I'll find out when I get there. If anyone knows anything about this hotel and smoking I'd love to hear it.

But what I'm wondering most about is whether anyone can recommend a good cigar store with a smoking lounge. I'd prefer to smoke on the balcony, but if I can't then I might consider trying a cigar bar/lounge. Any info would be appreciated.
