Sunday Night vs Monday Night

I'll give my rating on a 4 point scale. 1 being horrible - 4 being great

I know that some of you New Orleans fans may initially get a little bent out of shape with the low scores but it's because I think they are going to destroy the two teams they play on MNF - and the SNF game against Seattle doesn't really have any tension to it ... nationally that is.

You never know, but the MNF schedule looks like a stinker to me. Super Bowl champ only plays once? Arizona at San Fran? (at worst they'll only be 0-1 )

I agree with your Sunday game ratings, but not the New Orleans vs Tennessee MNF game. That one could be a 38-35 classic.

that's why I was stating in the other thread that SNF is the new MNF. Overall Sunday Night has better games, match-ups, teams and fan interest.

Eric - couldn't agree more, the MNF games has lost their luster. I know at my house we prefer the SNF games. Great way to end the weekend.

Who are you trying to bullshit eee?

You simply think the Sunday night games are better because the Iggles are on 3 times versus only once on MNF.

I much prefer the Monday Night schedule -- it only has 1 NFC East matchup, while the Sunday Night lineup has 4...

seriously though - when you have the Colts, Chargers, Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins & Giants on multiple times on a Sunday and never more than once on Monday ......... you have to wonder.

Those are some of the highest marketable teams in the league.

Monday Night multiple appearances - Tennessee, New Orleans, San Fran, Atlanta, Denver, Baltimore and New England.

Except for New England - those teams aren't big market.

True, but TN vs. NO gives you a Vince Young/Reggie Bush matchup, while TN vs. Denver gives you Vince Young/Jay Cutler. At least they'll have something to talk about beyond the Pacman suspension...

You need a lesson in demographics... Atlanta has 4.6 million people in the urban area and a big following in other areas of GA, AL, SC. Balt/Wash and SF Bay Area over 6 and 4 million respectively. All around the same size or bigger than Boston area.

The Saints are hot nationally.

Denver is a Rocky Mountain area team. Big following in the mountain states.

Wanna try again?
