LITTLE ROCK, AR May 1: Cigar Weekly Charity Cigar Dinner
It's time to give something back.
Some of the Little Rock members of Cigar Weekly are planning a charity cigar dinner. Our charity is the American Diabetes Association. The date has been set for May 1st 2004. We will have a few events during the day but the dinner and herf will begin at 6pm. Tickets are $50.00. We will be served a buffet dinner at Cajuns Wharf. After the dinner we will have a raffle. Each attendant will recieve a raffle ticket with their purchase of the dinner. Additional raffle tickets will be sold at the herf. Did I say this is for charity? Schedule of events. Any early arrivals on friday will gather at the Flying Saucer for cigars and drinks. Maybe even a card game might be organized. Saturday. Noon. Herf at The Pipe and Tobacco Shoppe. This is a local shop that has a great selection of cigars and great people running the place. 2pm. Tour Diamond Bear Brewery. A tour of Little Rock only Brewery and samples of the beer. After the tour we don't have anything planned until the dinner. This will give people time for lunch, head back to Pipe and Tobacco Shoppe for another cigar, or find a local bar that allows cigars. We have a few. 6pm is the Charity Cigar dinner and herf. Everyone will attending will get a goodie bag and a raffle ticket. Remember more raffle tickets can be bought to up your odds of winning something and increasing our donation to the American Diabetes Association. Tickets for the event are $50.00. Remember this is for charity. Seating will be limited. Contact me by pm or e-mail if you are intrested. Carlos Torano and CAO have already stepped up as sponsers. (Thanks Frankie and Jon). We will announce more sponsers later. Hotel rooms to be announced soon. So come on to Little Rock and let us show you some southern hospitality.

If this is going to be an annual event, I may make it next year. Sounds like a great time is to be had by all who attends.

Greg, I appreciate all the hard work you have done to raise a heavy donation and to give us goons the chance to have some fun. This promises to be a damn good time.
If anyone needs anything from me to aid them in getting here, let me know. |
