Went to local dive bar that does a 16 ounce NY strip steak, baked potato and a salad for $18.00.

pork chops with a stone ground mustard pan sauce

cabbage and potato gratin (which was really good... allspice and sage worked really well with the bay)

a Portuguese white wine which paired very well

Breakfast of champions!

We are all pretty sick of poultry. I have veg that needs using and pork tenderloin is $2.49 this week, so I'm thinking stirfry tonight and leg of lamb tomorrow.

Whole hams were under a buck Wednesday, so we'll get sick and tired of that next. Katie adores turkey and Kim loves ham, so I'll be curing them of both afflictions by Christmas.

My step daughter is visiting from Florida. Looks like it's Chinese for dinner tonight. I think I'll get the sweet and sour chicken. Haven't had that in a while.
