Cigar Savor ?
anybody remember those? A simple plastic tube you put your cigar in and it seals.
Mine has so many miles on it, the seal is worn out. A simple, great, inexpensive idea. |

I have one and still use it from time to time.

I tried searching for a replacement and learned the company went crazy with expensive accessories and forgot about their original great idea.

HERE is a CA article about them from 2002. Never used one. The whole idea of putting a half smoked cigar in a tube sounds awful to me. Seems like they'd come out smelling & tasting like shit. Do they really work?
Here are are couple pics I tracked down, |

Now I remember these things. I couldn't imagine wanting one then and I don't want one now. I've been smoking cigars for more than 10 years and I don't think I've ever had a time where I had to stop smoking. Maybe it's just me. But I would have absolutely no use for one of these things.

if you let the cigar go out first, it's good for awhile.
it's also perfect for bringing a fresh cigar when you're wade fishing, since it's waterproof and floats. also, the ones you're showing were $25 and up to crazy prices - $250 for silver. The one I'm talking about is plastic and $5. Last edited by alfa; 10-17-2013 at 04:14 PM. |

I had one of these many moons ago, and I have no idea what happened to it.

Yep, and it helps to purge the cigar before letting it go out.
