antique humidor question

Hi,

I was checking out some antique humidors on ebay... I've noticed many with copper lined interiors. One seller even stated that copper is the BEST material for humidors... I really don't agree...I understand that spanish cedar is best for preventing tobacco beetles. I also understand that copper & moisture are not good bedfellows... are these antiques useful or are they just pieces of furniture to admire and not really to use?

I would appreciate any comments on this!

Take care,
James
