The Velvet Fog!!!

Damn but I love Mel Torme. I'm listening to "Sing, Sing, Sing".....Mel live in Japan with his quintet. Great stuff and his clarinet player sounds just like my dad!

His renditions of the Basie and Ellington songbooks are tops. Love "I'm going to move (to the outskirts of town)".

And he wrote the lyrics to "Take the A Train", too.
