Altadis at the local shop
The local shop, The Smoker's Club in Mt. Pleasant, MI, hosted an Altadis rep (Michael Cole) yesterday and I went up there after work. They were offering a buy-3-get-1 or a buy-6-get-3 on any of their cigars. I chose the A.Turrent Triple Play, a Warlock and an SLR, along with a free RyJ. I also won a 3-pack of TTT which I haven't had before.
I had the Triple Play at the shop which is a triple maduro like the Camacho but nowhere near as pricy and just as good tasting. It also didn't kick my ass when I stood up after finishing it like the Camacho does. The price at the shop was roughly half of the Camacho and even though I really like those, I will choose the A.Turrent based solely on price in the future. The flavors are similar, the burn and draw were good, nothing spectacular but not bad at all for the price. Camacho could learn something from these guys about prices.
