Altadis

This happened at least a year ago, but I've been debating whether or not to tell the story. I didn't want to start a trend of people exploiting this or anything, but I think a deed such as this should be known.

I wrote to Altadis one day; because, I'm a big fan of the entire Upmann line. I try a lot of different cigars, but for whatever reason I can't break myself away from that very first cigar I put between my lips. So, I wrote to them simply to let them know how much I enjoy their cigars.

About a week or two later, I received a package that contained an excellent sampler pack of Upmann's and a hand written thank you note from their Vice President of marketing. She was very gracious and thanked me for the kind words.

Altadis of course is a conglomerate and one of the largest cigar manufacturers in the world, but it's nice to see they still have a personal touch with their customers.
