A note from one of our Men in Iraq

Dear Gossett Family

I revieved your package with the cigars.

I gave the package out to one of our line companies so the solders could enjoy them, but I wanted to personally thank you for your generous show of support. It means a lot to us over here.

Thank you for the care package. God Bless

Sincerely,
CPT Steve Salomone

Thanks for sharing this note with us ---I remember back when Steve was a Cadet LT. at West Point --- he was famous for making sure his Platoon was always "well taken care of" --he would give up his own to make sure his men had something first.
I am THRILLED to see that the trait I witnessed in him at The Point is still very much being practiced by him as he takes care of his Mortar Group in Iraq !
And Bless You and Yours for your contribution in making a group of unknown American men serving so far from home very happy and mindful that there are many folks back here who remember them and appreciate their sacrifices.

HOOAH !!!!
