Georgia Coach on way out?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...icht/75214044/

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution posted a story indicating Richt has been given "a directive to fix" the issues within the program that have led to a disappointing 5-3 start and that dissension among members of the coaching staff has been at the root of many problems.

It would be a good idea, but the trustees (and the boosters) wont go for it.

Quite frankly, Richt gave them a taste of what the next five years would be without him last week.

Five years without beating Auburn will kill a coach in the SEC. Ask Bill Curry.

Richt can't win big games. He chokes.

Georgia will never even get close to a national champion with him as head coach.

Richt took the team as far as he is capable. He has been stagnant for what a decade now?

Some people can just get you into the race, but just can't get you over the finish line.

He needs to go somewhere where he can rebuild a program and then step aside again.

Repeat every five years.

I've been saying that for the past five years.

And that's from a 30 year season ticket holder.

Damn good seat ticket holder.

The game's past Richt. Same as Spurrier.

He can recruit, but not play. Better as a GM than Coach.

Much bigger than he faced when he came to UGA in 2000. Donnan left him a lot of future NFLers.

At least his huge task will be in a warm climate.

Not only that, but his ultimate boss is no other than that dingbat Donna Shalala.
