I've smoked a few and haven't been impressed with them. I found them quite boring to tell the truth. Just my opinion. The flavor seemed to subdued. The burn could have been better had to correct and relight often.

My b & m can't keep them on the shelves. I like them, but they are not my go to smoke. They are so popular that La Casa Ann Arbor (cigar club) is switching sites with La Casa Plymouth to host a Kristoff event. CAO was coming to Ann Arbor and Kristoff was going to be in Plymouth, but Plymouth sells much more CAO and Ann Arbor sells more Kristoff.

Every last one I've seen in any number of shops looks sopping wet. That keeps me away pretty effectively.

I did a review of the corojo version on Nice Tight Ash, but I haven't had the maduro yet. I heard the maduro is excellent. They are pretty linear in flavor profile, but if you like that flavor, then who cares? I say what I always say....try it out for yourself and see what you think.

I tried one of the maduros the other day. Thought it was decent til about half way through, and then went to hell. Also thought it was somewhat overpriced. JMO, but I probably won't be bothering with them again.

The review of the Kristoff Torpedo sounded good in Cigar Press, but I have heard conflicting things from friends. Sort of like this thread... as others have said - you'll have to try a few for yourself

Had a torpedo once of the regular line. Started off good, but just kinda fizzled out flavor-wise after about halfway. Might need more age.
