Billie Holiday by a nose. I once drove Nina Simone around in the back of a limo for a jazz festival. She was a huge pain in the ass, drunk and obnoxcious. I still really like her voice though.

Nobody can compare to Billie Holiday. The feeling and emotion that went into her songs can never be duplicated.

Had the pleasure of seeing Nina Simone in concert a couple of years back and she can still sing after all these years. She was assisted to the piano and it was all over from there. Amazing performance.
This choice is just too difficult to make for me and MysterBlues, Etta James is an awesome voice also.
