If you're dead set on a window, you can buy a plexiglass window kit (with a rubber gasket) from any online custom computer website. People put windows in their computer cases all the time, to show off custom lighting/watercooling jobs. I haven't been into that scene for years, but here's a reputable vendor who carries the window kits.
http://www.frozencpu.com/scan/se=Win...nu_search.html DISCLAIMER - I have absolutely no clue whether these will work in a cooler, or whether they'd leak humidity out. But, they are well made window kits.

Just pickup a small beverage cooler. Not as nice looking as a wine cooler, but you can pick up a used 1 for around $100 and they have a small windows on both sides in addition to the front glass. I'm about to have a buddy airbrush some designs on mine for a custom look.
