Are dress boxes shields against beetles??

Since Spanish Cedar is beetle resistant(???) does that mean in the coolerdor, if there are beetles, they won't enter any cigars you store in your dress boxes and cab's. Or conversly is a box is isfested, would it isolate in that box because it would not want to penetrate the cedar to leave the box?? Thanks guys. Just wondering if I should store all my loose cigars in old boxes and then put them in the coolerdor. Thanks guys.
