Question... multiple pipes?

I am just getting into this thing and have already purchased a nice pipe. Fairly inexpensive just to start with.

However, I have already purchased several types of tobacco. I have two "vanilla flavored" tobaccos and a few typical tobaccos, Captain Black and Dunhill for example.

Now, I wont be smoking it very often and will be cleaning the pipe after each use.

The question I have is that will it be ok to smoke a vanilla blend one day, then a few days later smoke some Dunhill 965?

Will the vanilla flavor "tarnish" the plain?

If I enjoy this hobby I will of course get a few extra pipes, but for now I want to keep with just one.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
