new aquisitions:

Picked up a tin of McClelland's Arcadia and No. 27 Va Flake today. No clue how I like these, both were pretty random picks as I wanted to try something new, being unsatisfied with my current stocks.

The Arcadia intrigues me a bit; it has a nice aroma but to my nose there's some kind of sour fruit thing going on--is that just due to the newness of the tin? Should I let this rest a few months before having a go?

The flake has a similar nose but less acidic and more raisiny, makes me wonder if it's just humidity or a byproduct of the packing process or whatever they purge the cans with.

Suggestions/comments?
