You don't need expensive "conditioned" silica gel (beads) to pull humidity from the air! Just buy a bag of over-the-counter cat litter such as Fresh Step (unconditioned silica gel). It works great and can be re-heated if you are really trying to save money. I have used in in my 70 qt Igloodor during the hot summer months and within a day or two, RH drops 1-2 percenage points.
