There is no right answer to this question as the most important factor in a coolador is how full will it be..in effect how much buffering material will be in it(cigars). If you have a full coolador (use empty boxes to fill empty space)that seals well you may not need any humidification device.
I use about a half pound of KLH in a 150 qt. coolador and have not added water for 15 months. A tip on usage is to place KLH in the toe of a stocking/panty hose (I use new ones) and just cut off and tie. The use of the stocking allows the KLH to take any shape as well as exposing the entire surface of the beads.
