I really like to listen to Coltrane but Ascension is one CD that is really hard for me to listen to. I've got it on right now and it's a fight to get through.

This calls for a very special blend of psychology and extreme violence.

Funny, I can't get it out of my head.

I have never been able to get into "free" jazz.

I tried to listen to it on the way home last night.

This is not a good music to drive to (unless you want a head on collision)

I think they call it "free" jazz as they can't sell it.

I definitely prefer early Coltrane.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
