Humidity question

Hi gang

I have two humidors, a 50 and 75 ct. They both have weather stripping around the edges and seem to close tighly enough. I have both of them pretty well filled and use 65% beads.

My beads are in coffee container lids, one below the tray and one on the tray and I believe that the amount of beads is by far plenty for the size of the box.

The problem, if I don't add water every 2-3 weeks the digital hygros read 58-59% each. I salt tested them a few months ago so they should be accurate. This seems to be an awful short time between waterings. Should I be using a bag for the beads instead of a tray or lid?

Any help would be appreciated. Right now the temp says 59 degrees in one and 63 in the other and they are stacked on top of each other.

Thanks
