Agree. As we get into the winter months the ambient RH tends to drop dramaticaly. This makes it tough for a wooden humidor to maintain a RH that's elevated compared to ambient.

If it's a problem for you (souldn't be though ) you can put the whole humidor inside a large plastic bag. Or.....start a coolerdor! I have a 50 qt cooler I set up in December 2004 with 1 lb of 65% beads and I have yet to add a drop of water and I'm in it frequently!
