Another unbanded, cellophane-wrapped belicoso. This one was, likely, a Habano wrapper. It was darker but not maduro.

Tried the new Joya De Nicaragua Conn. I thought this would be a med-full cigar because of the Antano is so full bodied. But it turned out to be a mild cigar. First and last.

My first Muestra de Saka, gifted to me by a very generous member.

72 degree day at the end of August. Well worth celebrating.

Delicious from the first draw all the way to the lip crisping nub.

Wish I could afford to keep these on hand.

Off to a Partagas Serie D #4...

Don't know if the Muestra was that good or if time has not been kind to PSD4. Mild with none of the complexity I expect from Partagas. Disappointing.

Can you expand on these for us? Maybe in the Daily review thread, or start a thread on the two of them? I cut my teeth all those years ago on both lines, I have a special spot for the el Jocko Perfecto, and the old Flor de Oliva Grand Cameroon, now the Serie G.

I need a nudge to go get a couple el Jockos, and a thread on these two would push me.

Little bit of both, I 'spose.
