And, ironically, some of the peavey stuff that I have used has been the best and longest lasting. Had a Mackie power amp lose one side after about six months. SOme fancy stuff from Top in Sound here in IN that was custom made that never did work right. Unless I'm playing something really clean like jazz, I go for the Peavey stuff. Never breaks down, and no one in the audience can tell a difference anyway. NOw my monitors on the other hand... I took to using studio reference montors for a while, but that was over kill.
