Places to smoke Ocean City MD.
Just wondering if anybody knows any cigar friendly places in Ocean City
Md. ? I will be staying around the 122nd St. area. Haven't been there in quit some time (since mid 90's). Still hope some of the old places are still there, Purple Moose, The Green Turtle, Brass balls Saloon, The Bearded Clam, Ect. Thanks in advance. |

Can you smoke on the beach there? I know there are some beaches here in the US where you can't smoke anymore.

I smoked my first cigar on the Ocean City boardwalk...
You need to check out the tigar shark that used to be on display at the S. end of the boardwalk. That bad boy kept me outta the water my last day there.

famousbaddave,
I actually laughed out loud at your post! My family and I go down every year between X-mas and New Years (no one in town - just the way I like it). Anyway, this past year the weather was abnormally mild (following a freak 3-6 inch snow the day or two before we arrived), and my wife, children and I walked the boardwalk. As my wife and girls were in one of the few arcades open, I sat on a park bench facing the ocean. As I am enjoying my cigar (HdM Excal - from Senor Cigars in OC), I look over to the right of me and FLYING out of a wall 15 feet up in the air is JAWS, looming over the boardwalk! It is so big, my wife even chuckled and muttered something about not wanting to meet THAT out in the surf. Anyway, I plan on revisiting that bench this year as well, with the Excal as my companion..... Thanks for the funny memory.... John |
