A few months ago when I was looking for inspiration for a humidor (as well as construction info) I found that there is very little online, and almost nothing at the libraries. What I did was look to designs and styles that were to my liking, and adapt something from there. As a starting point, just about any box or cabinet can be built as a humidor when you use the right materials and techniques.

One idea that I had was to build a replica of one of the Habanos commemorative humidors as shown in MRN. That might be a starting point as well.

Also, look at the custom humidor websites - tons of ideas there.
