The more pronounced oak element of the older Auchentoshan bottlings seems a reasonable match at first thought, John. The only aspect that I might worry about is that this woodiness often comes accompanied by a definite resiny quality (relatively less so in the 21YO and more so in the more venerable cask-strength vintage issues). Could work, though.
