Manufacturing Changes.....

So far I'm aware of changes in the Zino (Davidoff no longer printed on the blades, blades seem to be cut at a different angle) and Xicar (no longer manufactured in Germany) cutters.

From personal experience, I believe that the older Zino cutter works better - easier and more consistant cut - than the newer one. Imprerssions seem to be mixed regarding the old vs new Xicar.

What changes have you noticed and additional impressions or comments do you have regarding the changes in these two cutters or other accessories (cutters, lighters, etc)? Were the changes in country of manufacture, etc publicized? Do you feel that manufacturers owe their customers some kind of notice when they make material changes in how their products are produced?

Please discuss.....
